Old Sea Brigade Drops “Mirror Moon”

Old Sea Brigade does a deep dive into some Nashville ties for the track “Mirror Moon”, which was recorded at local studios The Shoebox and The Galt Line with Nashville musicians Tony Lucido (Caitlyn Smith, Rhiannon Giddens) and Julian Dorio (Eagles of Death Metal, The Whigs). From his upcoming album, Motivational Speaking, out May 14 via Nettwerk

In an arrested state
Fresh out of holiday
Oh how we always move
Burn the ground the roots once grew
Its bad enough we had to say
I’m fine I guess we’re doing okay
You don’t have to always lose
Feeding the reaction blues

Don’t wake up
False alarm
Silently fall asleep
Mirror moon split in to
A perfect dream
Dont wake too soon

Stumbled on the words to say
Gracefully they fade away
You call me out and pull me in
I’m never making plans again
I thought I knew my ups and downs
But everything is stranger now
I wonder when we’ll land back safe
Will anything feel the same
