Even though a new record is way overdue for East Nashville-Madison’s Queen of All Media, Elizabeth Cook, it doesn’t mean she’s been resting on her laurels. In addition to a busy touring schedule, her always wild and woolly radio show, Elizabeth Cook’s Apron Strings, on SiriusXM never fails to entertain. She also recently served as a special correspondent on the 2020 Outlaw Country Cruise where she taped an outstanding interview with Carlene Carter for SiriusXM’s “Sessions at Sea” series. And there’ll be more on the water action when her new fishing TV show, Upstream with Elizabeth Cook, premieres this spring on the Circle TV network (airing locally on WSMV-TV’s digital channel 4.5).
Friday night, Feb. 28, she’ll serving up the tunes to The Cowan at Topgolf, performing a set with her band Gravy. Expect lots of attitude, sass, great clothes, and of course, awesome music as she brings it all back home. Or as Cook says, “When I play Nashville, it always brings out close family and friends, good ol’ local music fans, and the industry brass. It’s like a trifecta of a good times. There is much to celebrate. I can’t wait.”
